The Real World Connections Program

Real World Connections promotes participants' life skills, particularly in the areas of personal safety,
being aware of their surroundings, recognition and response to dangerous situations, and
developing saftey plans. For employed participants, Real World Connections offers
guidance in providing good customer service, acceptable work place behavior,
and when to ask for more help in job-related tasks. Through small groups
comprised of their developmental peers, Real World Connections
participants are gently supported on the path to increased autonomy,
thus enchancing their self-confidence and self-image.
